Reddit clients who said to be McDonald's current and past workers have uncovered the menu thing you better never order from the fast food restaurant and why.

The fast food chain is loved by millions, yet these cases may finish up leaving an awful taste.

In a survey where restaurant workers were approached to share which menu things one should never order, employees from the chain concurred that the Filet-O-Fish was a poor decision.

A reddit user who said he used to work at McDonald's three years ago stated: "I can promise you that filet of fish is not fresh by any stretch of the imagination."

"At McDonald’s just say you want a fish filet cooked to order," another user exhorted.

He at that point clarified that you would need to hang tight five minutes longer for your request however it will be "worth it compared to the filet that has been in the heated cabinet for hours."

Criticism aside , one regular McDonald's customer protected the chain by saying the fish burger is his most beloved dish on the menu.

He stated: "If you’re going to serve me a square piece of fish that tastes the exact same whether I order it in Denver or the south of France, I am under no assumption that it is by any means fresh."

“And I am completely okay with that, it’s my go-to comfort food.”

The Sun Online has asked McDonald's for further comments.

As of late, McDonald's has been battling more up-showcase chains like Five Guys and Shake Shack from taking a bigger chunk out of its business.
